Amazing Spider-Man: Big Time

Amazing Spider-Man: Big Time

Apr 25

When Amazing Spider-Man Brand New Day (written by Dan Slott with artwork by the amazing Scott McNiven) kicked in several years ago, Peter Parker was so broke he couldn’t even afford to pay his apartment. He tried looking for a good job but just couldn’t nail at least one -  not even as a lab assistant!

Out of frustration, this was what ran on his mind:

Now I bet those who have been following the current Amazing Spider-Man Big Time arc (still written by Slott, with artist Humberto Ramos this time around) can already guess where I’m taking this entry.

In the story, Peter gets to visit Horizon Labs and eventually gets interviewed for a big full-time gig. This is what happened during the interview:

To cut it shorter, our favorite Web Slinger gets the job and all its amazing benefits - a flexible schedule, access to top technology, and a paycheck that has “soo many zeroes.”

See, Peter? Being Spidey is absolutely worth it all the while, right?

As a wise dude once taught “Whate’r thou art, act well they part.”
