Bolt

What if you find out one day that your life was nothing more than just a TV show? No, I’m not talking about Jim Carrey’s Truman Show. I’m talking about Bolt, a recent computer-animated film from Disney.

It was just two nights ago that I got the chance to watch this with my younger brother after a whole day of playing free online bingo. I’m glad I saw this one. The plot revolves around Bolt, a dog who believed he really had super powers. The action scenes in the beginning which shows Bolt and a girl named Penny (Miley Cyrus) on an adventure was just pure eye candy. It’s hard not to be amazed with it.

Now I don’t want to spoil anything here as I’m sure there are some who’d get to read this post but haven’t watched the film yet. I suggest you pick it up and I assure you it’s a fun movie to watch - mainly because of Rhino (Mark Walton), a very funny hamster (yes, a hamster - not an actual rhino) who is, as it appears, the biggest Bolt fan in the planet.  His insane antics (i.e. “I eat danger for breakfast!”) can really get you laughing at any rate. Its just impossible to watch the movie without liking the character. He should have his own movie.

Although I’m not really someone who watches a film several times,  I might watch this again later  - this time with my Mom who also wants to see it- before I return it to the home video store tomorrow. Bolt is definitely for the young and the young at heart. If you’re looking for a good movie that kids and adults can both enjoy, this should do the trick.
