Adoboverse Komiks #2 | Comics Review

Bien Del Rosario rocks us once again with the release of Adoboverse Komiks #2! As with the previous issue, he introduces us to more of his colorful and cleverly-named characters.

Just imagine a masked videogame-playing, kung fu master who roams the streets of China Town and fights crime using the name Smile Lee. His villains? Some jersey-wearing ninjas who call themselves Ninjologs! On the book’s flipside, we get to meet Toyoman Z – a vinegar-powered homage to the great giant robots of Japan.

In short, Adoboverse Komiks #2 is definitely one fun read and this is the kind of comic book that even kids would surely enjoy. Personally, I think it’s refreshing to see titles like this that bring back the feeling of reading Funny Komiks, Bata Batuta and the likes. Artwise, Bien’s style is so good and so clean one can only wish that the interior pages were in full colors (or had some good tones, at least).

In short, I’m super excited to read Adoboverse Komiks #3. So bring it on, Bien!

Now here are some other Adoboverse characters I hope to see in action for the future issues:
