Uncanny X-Force #1

Uncanny X-Force #1

Jul 15

I am not following the current X-Men story arc but for some weird reason, I had the feeling that Deadpool and/or Wolverine will be part of the team when I saw a Twitter update that said Marvel will be launching a new Uncanny X-Force book soon.

And my guess was right! The two guys are indeed part of it. Too predictable, Marvel – even for someone not reading the X-books!

Seriously, these two guys are all over lotsa comics these days. Not that I don’t like them or what but doesn’t Marvel have other characters aside from them?

Also part of the team are Psylocke, Archangel and Fanthomex – a guy I’m not too familiar with. At first, I was really like “hey what the heck is Storm Shadow doing here?” Haha! Told ya I’m not a regular reader!

Anyway, Uncanny X-Force #1 comes out this October from the creative team of writer Rick Remender and artist Jerome Opena. Before that, though, these deadly heroes will make their first appearance as a team in X-Men: Second Coming #2.

Now here’s the cover art for Uncanny X-Force #1 by Esad Ribic. Not very catchy for a cover, no? Sorry, Marvel, for being too much of a whiner this time. :D

nice site you have here! actually, this might be the only time where having deadpool and wolverine on the same team makes sense..it’s a secret team of mutants who no one can ever find out about and they do the things that the x-men aren’t supposed to do such as kill.:D

  2. Thanks for dropping by, Marco. Yeah well, I guess you’re right. Plus if there’s one thing I like about Wolvie here, its his bad-ass black costume – the best one EVER, if you ask me! :D

  3. yes i agree with that! i really think it suits him way better than yellow spandex.:D

  4. @ Marco, definitely! It is more in-character!
